Order privacy Order details are shared only where they are needed. If another Decoz seller supplies a product, they may receive the details needed to make, ship, return or support that order.
Decoz respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, and how information may be shared with Decoz sellers and service providers when you buy personalised gifts or use seller tools on Decoz.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at hello@decoz.com.au.

Information we collect

We may collect account details, contact details, delivery addresses, billing details, order details, product customisation details, uploaded images or files, messages, reviews, support requests, seller information, payment confirmation details, device information, browser information, IP address, cookie information and website usage information.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website, create and manage accounts, process orders, personalise products, provide checkout, send order updates, support buyers and sellers, manage returns and refunds, prevent fraud, protect the website, improve performance, comply with legal obligations and communicate with you about your account or orders.

Sharing information with sellers

When you place an order for a product supplied by another Decoz seller, Decoz may share the information needed for that order with the relevant seller. This may include your name, delivery address, phone number, email address, order items, customisation details, uploaded files, gift notes, delivery instructions, messages and issue photos. Sellers need this information to make products, pack orders, buy shipping labels, contact you about an order, manage returns, review delivery issues and provide customer support.

Seller details shown to buyers

Decoz may show shop names, seller details, return addresses, dispatch information, shipping details and support details to buyers where needed for orders, shipping labels, packing slips, invoices, returns, refunds, consumer law requirements or customer support. The details shown can depend on the product, seller, country, shipping method and order issue.

Seller use of customer information

Sellers must only use customer information for Decoz order fulfilment, customer support, returns, refunds, safety, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Sellers must not use customer information for unrelated marketing, resale, spam, data harvesting or contact outside the Decoz order process unless the customer has clearly agreed.

Service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us run Decoz, including payment providers, shipping carriers, email providers, hosting providers, analytics tools, security tools, fraud prevention services, file storage services and customer support tools. We only share information needed for the relevant service.

Payments

Payment information may be handled by secure payment providers. Decoz does not need to store full card numbers to process normal card payments. We may store payment status, transaction references and order totals so we can confirm orders, refunds and support requests.

International orders and providers

Because Decoz supports personalised gift orders, seller tools, international delivery and online service providers, information may be processed or accessed outside Australia where needed to fulfil an order, provide a service, operate the website or comply with law.

Logging

We use a built-in logging system to monitor important errors, suspicious activity, security issues and performance issues. Logged information may include IP addresses, browser type, date and time, referring pages, account or order references and technical details needed to diagnose the issue. We do not intentionally log payment card details, passwords or secret keys.

Cookies and analytics

Decoz uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep the site working, improve checkout, understand website performance and improve the shopping experience. We may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the website. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some website features may not work correctly without them.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No website, server, email system or internet transfer is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access and correction

You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide Decoz, support orders, meet legal and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and protect the website. When information is no longer needed, we may delete it or de-identify it where reasonable.

Consent

By using Decoz, creating an account, placing an order or selling through Decoz, you consent to the handling of information described in this Privacy Policy.
