Clear responsibilities
Decoz sells personalised gifts and selected sellers can offer products too.
These terms explain how Decoz products, seller-supplied products, order details, shipping and returns work together.
These terms apply when you use Decoz, create an account, buy products, sell products, message another user, upload content, or otherwise use the website. By using Decoz, you agree to these terms and any policies shown on the product, checkout, seller or account pages.
Decoz role
Decoz is an Australian personalised gift shop. Many products are sold directly by Decoz, and Decoz also gives selected sellers the opportunity to offer personalised gifts, decor and related products through the website. Where a product is sold by another Decoz seller, Decoz provides the website, checkout, messaging, account tools and support process, while the relevant seller is responsible for the product it lists and supplies.
Seller details
Shop names, seller details, dispatch information, return details and shipping details may be shown on product pages, order pages, messages, packing slips, shipping labels, return instructions or customer support messages where needed. Seller details are provided so buyers can understand who is supplying an item and so orders, shipping, returns and support can be handled correctly.
Orders and contracts
When you place an order, the order is accepted for the products available from the relevant seller. If your cart contains products from Decoz and another seller, or from more than one seller, each seller may handle its own products, dispatch times, shipping methods, return policy, support questions and delivery issue review. Decoz may help coordinate the order process, but each seller remains responsible for the products it sells unless Decoz is the listed seller.
Product listings
Each seller is responsible for keeping its listings accurate, including product descriptions, images, prices, options, availability, production times, shipping policies, return policies and any promotion or deal it chooses to offer. Decoz may remove, hide or edit listings that appear inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, infringing, duplicated, spammy or unsuitable for the website.
Personalised products
For personalised or custom-made products, buyers are responsible for checking names, spelling, dates, colours, sizes, photos, files and other custom details before placing an order. By submitting custom content, you give Decoz and the relevant seller permission to use that content only as needed to make, display, process, ship, support or resolve the order.
Prices, promotions and deals
Prices, coupons, shipping offers, discounts and other deals may be set by Decoz or by individual sellers. A seller promotion applies only where it is shown as available for that seller, product or checkout. A Decoz promotion applies only where Decoz clearly says it is a Decoz promotion.
Shipping
Shipping policies, shipping prices, delivery methods and dispatch times are set by Decoz for Decoz products and by each seller for seller products. These details are shown on the product page or at checkout. Sellers are responsible for packaging and dispatching their sold items, choosing suitable shipping methods and helping review delivery issues for the products they supplied. Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by carrier delays, public holidays, customs, remote delivery areas and incorrect address details.
Returns and refunds
Return policies are set by Decoz for Decoz products and by each seller for seller products. If an order contains products from more than one seller, each product may be reviewed under the return policy of the seller that supplied it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer laws.
Payments and order information
Payment and checkout services may be provided by Decoz or third-party payment providers. Order information, delivery details, customisation details and buyer messages may be shared with the relevant seller and service providers where needed to process, make, ship, support, return or refund an order.
Seller responsibilities
Sellers must comply with applicable laws, accurately describe products, honour their seller policies, protect customer information, fulfil orders within the stated dispatch time, respond to genuine order issues, and only use buyer information for Decoz order fulfilment, customer support, returns, refunds, safety, fraud prevention or legal obligations. Sellers must not misuse customer information for unrelated marketing or contact outside the Decoz order process unless the customer has clearly agreed.
User content and intellectual property
You must only upload or submit content that you own or have permission to use. Sellers keep ownership of their listing content, but grant Decoz permission to use, reproduce, display, adapt and distribute that content for operating, promoting and improving Decoz. Buyers keep ownership of custom content they submit, but grant Decoz and the relevant seller permission to use it as needed for the order.
Restricted use
You must not use Decoz to break the law, infringe another person's rights, upload harmful code, scrape data, interfere with the website, mislead buyers or sellers, abuse messages, avoid fees, manipulate reviews, sell unsafe goods, or use another person's account without permission. Decoz may restrict, suspend or remove access if needed to protect users, sellers, the website or legal compliance.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decoz provides the website and selling tools on an as-is basis. Decoz does not guarantee that every listing will be error-free, that every seller will always be available, or that every buyer and seller will complete a transaction exactly as expected.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decoz is not liable for indirect, consequential or special loss arising from your use of the website, selling tools, seller listings, user content, carrier delays or third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
Decoz may update these terms as the website, products and seller tools change. The latest version will be shown on this page. Continued use of Decoz after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New South Wales for disputes that cannot be resolved through the Decoz support process.
